Founded in 1923, House of Henderson remain one of Scotland’s longest established kiltmakers. Now a third generation ran family business, it continues to supply only the highest quality Highlandwear, gifts and accessories across Scotland, the UK and internationally.
Nestled in the heart of Stirling's Old Town, you can find us only a short walking distance from the train station and historic attractions including Stirling Castle and the Old Town Jail.
In 1923 founder Robert Henderson opened R.R. Henderson Ltd in the Clackmannanshire town of Dollar - a gentleman’s outfitter also supplying school uniform and sportswear to the local community and beyond.
With a second store to follow at 6-8 Friars Street; Stirling would remain its home and flagship location to the present day.
Now a third generation ran family business; House of Henderson remains focused on its core services of made to measure highland wear, formal dress hire, premium Scottish gifts and accessories - in 2023 celebrating 100 years in business.
